TV Interview - Channel 11

I don't know when it will air, but I will be joining Tommy B for an interview about his new book, since retitled to match my painting. The taping is Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009. I guess if you have local cable access, you will see us on TV! The book comes out around November 30, 2009.

"Sex and the Salad"

Coming soon will be a book called "Sex and the Salad" by Tommy B., aka "The Nutty Italian". It is a collection of stories and recipes, illustrated with artworks, many of which are mine. An original image is on the cover entitled "Sex and the Salad, with a Little Undressing on the Side", a custom piece just for the book. You can see it in the Glamour Girls Gallery.

From Series to Singles...

Time for some creative R and R. While this website will remain active and current, I am taking a year off to recharge, re-energize, and refocus. The "Women" series is on hiatus while I explore some unique pieces that will challenge my creativity. 2010 will see the launch of a second website. Stay tuned! I am always watching however,....so many victims, so little time! :-)

FRESH AND WITTY SHOW

My sculptural piece made out of Wonder Bread bags has been accepted into this juried show at Summmit Arts Space in Akron. I will post an image in the "Gals on the Go" gallery along with some new works in different media as they are completed. Title of the piece..."It Was A Wonderful Wedding, Until She Got A Yeast Infection"

National Exhibition in Connecticut

"Told To Bring Needles" was juried into the 80th Annual Exhibition of the Connecticut Women Artists inc., by Claudia Seymour, current president of the Salmagundi Club in NYC. Jorgesen Gallery at the University of Connecticut will host the show June 20 - July 25, 2009.

Feedback!

Wow, has the reaction to my "One Night Stand" show touched both ends of the spectrum. I am either a total nutcase or an undiscovered genius. Maybe it should be someplace in between....either an undiscovered nutcase or a total genius! Could be I am just a genius at being a nutcase. Whatever you may think, I won't be changing anytime soon, so enjoy my craziness while it lasts.
